Another finger food recipe, the pecorino cheese and green olives are an excellent salty snack to accompany an aperitif or to whet your appetite before a dinner. I made these cheese snacks a few days ago and I must say that everyone really liked them, these pecorino and olive stars are very simple to prepare and are really tasty. Try it and let me know :)
How to make pecorino and olive stars
In a blender, chop the pitted green olives together with the pecorino.
In a bowl, arrange the 2 flours, add the softened butter, pepper and the mix of pecorino and green olives.
Start working the dough until you get a firm and homogeneous dough.
Arrange the dough on a floured pastry board and with a rolling pin roll out a sheet of about 3-4 mm high.
With a star-shaped pastry cutter, make the cookies that will be placed on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the pecorino and green olives stars at 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes.
Let cool and serve the pecorino and olive snacks together with an aperitif.
