Cod meatballs recipe of 13-03-2019
The Codfish balls they are a great way to get children to eat fish, all except my daughter who stubbornly opposes the inclusion of fish in her diet: / My husband Ivano, on the other hand, incredibly enjoyed the recipe and tasted the hot cod meatballs accompanied by a nice side dish of mixed salad.
But let's go back to the recipe for these fish balls, some time ago I proposed a version with perch, this time I opted for cod and a more traditional meatball mixture, I put the breadcrumbs instead of potatoes.
Also in this case I opted for cooking in a pan, faster and tastier, but you can opt for a healthier oven cooking, if you prefer ;-)
How to make cod meatballs
Finely chop garlic and parsley.
Crumble both the bread and the cod fillets.
Put all the ingredients (fish, bread, eggs, garlic, parsley, parmesan and a little salt) in a bowl and mix well.
With wet hands, start making the meatballs and once finished, pass them in the breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs turning them every now and then until they are golden brown, then drain them from the oil with a skimmer and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
The cod meatballs are ready: arrange them on a serving dish and serve hot.
